Whenever you are ready! We usually see couples 18 to 6 months ahead of the big day, but subject to availability, we can see you at any point during the planning process.

I offer free consultations which take place at my home or virtually via Zoom. My studio is too small for consultations so face to face appointments take place in my house. It is a great chance to meet and get to know each other whilst discussing your wedding and your wedding cake. I offer samples for you to try and provide tea and coffee along side.

If a virtual appointment is a better option for you I can also post out samples to you for £18.00 with a choice of four flavours from my cake menu.

Yes! All of our cakes can be fully tailored to match your colour theme and styling – we love it when our couples have a clear vision for their big day. If you have a specific colour scheme, theme or look in mind, please bring details along to your personal one-to-one cake consultation. You will find previous examples in our inspiration gallery on on our Pinterest boards.

Yes. All quotations outline a delivery fee, which includes delivery to your venue and the set up of your cake, leaving you free to focus on other details ahead of your big day. Please note: Delivery costs are based on mileage. Local pick up from my home studio in Cheltenham can be organised for smaller cakes, please contact me for further delivery information.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

SUMMERY OF TERMS

Non-refundable deposits must be paid to confirm all cake orders.

Wedding Cake balances due 14 days before the ceremony.

Celebration Cake balances paid by BACS transfer due 7 days before delivery or collection. With prior agreement cash can be accepted on collection.

PAYMENTS AND DEPOSITS

We require a 30% non-refundable deposit to confirm an order and hold the date. The remaining 70% is due two weeks before the delivery date, at which point all changes must be confirmed. Orders placed less than 4 weeks in advance of the delivery or collection date must be paid in full. The final balance specified on the invoice must be paid by the Buyer two weeks before the delivery date. Payment can be made earlier if you wish. Failure to complete the payment two weeks before the delivery date may result in your order being cancelled. By making the payment the Buyer is accepting the Terms and Conditions as detailed on this page.

CONSULTATIONS

Consultations are by appointment only and are not applicable to all orders. An appointment for a consultation must be agreed with Hannah Hickman and all consultations will be confirmed in writing by Hannah Hickman Creative Cake Makers.

REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS

Deposits are non-refundable. We cannot refund the cost of any orders cancelled with less than three week’s notice. In the very unlikely event that we have to cancel your order for any reason, then we will give you as much notice as possible, and discuss the matter with you and try to agree a suitable alternative. If you do not wish to accept our suggested alternative, then we will refund the full amount to you.

CAKE STAND HIRE

We offer cake stand hire. A security deposit is required in advance. It is your responsibility to return the cake stand after hire to our Studio address within 7 days. The deposit will not be refunded in the event that the stand is damaged, or not returned. Once the stand has been returned we will issue a refund to the Buyer.

FLOWERS

If fresh flowers are required to decorate the cake, these are not included in the price. Any fresh flowers should be provided by your florist or the Buyer and we are happy to liaise with your florist regarding the details and set up.
