Are you thinking about getting a cake consultation booked in but you are not sure how they work and what it involves?
I offer consultations as it is a great way to meet with couples and get a real feel for who they are and what style and personality they are trying to put into their cake to reflect who they are as a couple.
It is always a good idea to contact me in advance with an enquiry as to my availability and a rough quote to make sure I can cater for your needs. We can establish a date that you can come and meet me in Cheltenham where I work from my studio. It is usually a great help for yourselves to be able to arrange a few of your supplier and venue appointments on the same day, especially if you are travelling a long way, which I always try and accommodate.
Once you are all booked in the fun bit starts, choosing which flavours you would like to try! I offer a range of flavours and ask you to choose 3 or 4 to taste; otherwise it can be hard to narrow down your options!
When you come for your consultation I have tea and your cakes to enjoy. It is important for me to create a relaxed atmosphere so that we can chat, discuss your plans and design ideas and finalise your flavour choices.
I believe that when you are making choices for your wedding you are investing in the supplier themselves as much as the product or service they are providing.
